Fungal Nails
Many nails treated for fungal infections aren't actually fungal. During your consultation, Anna will conduct a Five-Minute Dermatophyte test on toenail clippings to confirm if a fungal infection is present, while tidying the nail and surrounding skin.
If positive, Anna will recommend the best treatment based on the severity of the infection and create a personalised plan.
Fungal Nail Treatment Options:

Topical Treatment: Antifungal treatments - Emtrix, Terbinafine, Mykored, and fungal spray for footwear.

Wilde Pedique Toenail Reconstruction: Provides a temporary cover, drastically improving the nails appearance whilst the infection is treated.

Referral: Toenail surgery with a trusted Podiatrist if necessary.

GP referral: Oral terbinafine medication if required.
